Inauguration of Wind Sculpture in Bronze I

For the first time, a physical inauguration took place in Princess Estelle's Sculpture Park. HRH Prince Daniel, British Ambassador Mrs. Judith Gough, Nigerian Ambassador Mr. B.B. Hamman, PREKS Executive Director Sara Sandström and the artist Yinka Shonibare CBE spoke at the opening ceremony which took place on June 2 at 1 pm.
During the ceremony, the John Erik Eleby chamber choir performed Folds of Wind, a musical piece composed by Jonas Bohlin for the work Wind Sculpture in Bronze I. Master of ceremonies was Dejmis Rustom Bustos.
