Special event with Giuseppe Penone

Artist Giuseppe Penone visits the Italian Cultural Institute in Stockholm for a special event. During the evening, he will present the sculpture The Inner Flow of Life that he has created for the Princess Estelle Sculpture Park. In addition to the artist himself and the Institute's Director Francesco Di Lella, Ambassador Michele Pala and PREKS Executive Director Sara Sandström will speak during the evening.

The evening begins with an artist talk between Giuseppe Penone and Director Francesco di Lella. The exhibition Trascrizione musicale della struttura degli alberi will be inaugurated and Penone's musical transcriptions will be performed live in a newly created version by saxophonist Jörgen Pettersson. The performance has been made possible by Ivo Nilsson who has adapted Penone's sheet music for bass saxophone.
